I'd take people up on the offer of the doggy spares if I was you. I took the ones from my spares, fitted perfectly and the larger head leaves no room for the wire to slip past and as a bonus they look like the real exocet screws.

In what way do they get in the way? Reason I ask is the doggy screws fit perfectly, but because the screw hole is not central in the post, they hang out on one side a little, luckily it's the coil side and not the barrel side, so no shorts.

The screw is fine, but the head itself is bigger so touches the coil, where as the stock screws don't. It really needs something in between.
