How will I know when coil/wick needs changing?

Hi all,

I currently have an EVOD clearomiser, question is when will I know when the coil/wick needs replacing? Been told I will get a burning taste? Will it also not produce as much vapour? Only been using this for three days now.

Planning on buying 5 spares and then have a go at recoiling myself.

Thanks
Matt

The juice will start tasting rubbish, sort of lack of flavour (difficult to explain).
Depending on the juice used and how much you vape, you should get more than 3 days out of a standard wick.
Try washing the head and dry burning it (standard/silica wick only).

Did you ever get drunk and light a cigarette the wrong way round?

That, for me, is what it tastes like.

Trust me, you'll know

I'm with you on this as someone who is new to the game. When i started i was on e-cigarettes & when those carto's are drying up you just know it because the flavour goes stale & 'orrible. It's obvious they need a top up or a change but the evod tanks, not sure yet. I'm kinda expecting a similar scenario.

Ok I'll be looking out for a manky taste then! I'm currently vaping a tobacco juice at the min, which is kinda rough anyway, so will just wait till it gets worse!

So is it worth trying to clean it before replacing it?

I guess it's wise to carry spares with you when you're out all day too?

Rules of vapeing:

#1 always have a backup.
#2 always have a backup for your backup.
#3 always keep your wick wet
#4 have a backup for your backups backup.

as for replacing voils, you can sometimes get much less vapor production(usualy buildup of gunk on the coils, but can also be a sign of a low battery) it starts to taste like your sucking on an exhaust pipe/inhaling burning rubber fumes(can also be a sign of hot spots on the coil).
