How will I know when coil/wick needs changing?

Ha ha, I've already got a complete spare setup I carry with me, plus charger and juice! Just got to get some spare coils and learn how to recoil.

Depending on the juice used and how much you vape, you should get more than 3 days out of a standard wick.

Is that all ? I vape less than 3ml a day and look to get about 3 weeks out of an EVOD coil. Is the performance just decreasing ever so slightly every day that I don't notice it ? When I do eventually change the coil I do notice a "honeymoon" difference in the vape quality in that it's noticably better. I use the 1.8 Ohm coils which if anything I'd expect to last less than the higher resistance ones. No white dog poo taste of course. Well it haoppened to me once with one coil after a few days but I thought that was a duff coil. Be cheaper using Boge cartos or something if I was changing the coil every 3 days.

Clean and dry burn it regularly like every few days and it might last you a bit longer

I've been experiencing a loss in flavour since last night. I reckon a few factors are to blame but mostly my taste buds are displaying the signs i have read about, just not getting that flavour.
It's been a process of elimination. I cleaned my clearo' & wick/coil etc.. Dry burned the thing till i saw the glow of red hot, fresh juice in & vaped up again. Not much difference. Repeated the operation with another tank, still no better. Started to vape some menthol this morning & even that tasted kinda dry & stale too.
Finally i put a brand new mini protank & fresh coil on the same battery & the difference was only a margin improvement.

Conclusion... Two things are suspect, 1. my taste buds are experiencing a lull. 2. My evod batteries are underpowered.

The postman should be bringing my new torchy batteries tomorrow & i'll be testing out my new nemesis mod ,with the same tanks to start with.

Hope that's of some help. Seems a bit easy to confuse symptoms between root cause or something else.

Attaching your coil to the battey without it or the wicks being immersed in liquid then burning off any sediment that may have gathered on the coil by 5 sec burns with the battery until the coil glows red. Some examples on YouTube & it depends on your clearo as to how far you have to strip it down defore doing this. Personally for the hassle & you might get a little more out of the coil but with a new one for £1.20 I just bin the old one.
