Very new to this guys so excuse the stupid questions.....

I have an Innokin VV as my first machine and it came with iClear16 clearomisers. I should take delivery today of a Kanger Mini Pro Tank 2; I know these are not up to the standards a lot of guys here are on, but I'm just getting into this.

My silly question is this, how long do the atomisers last? Or how will I know when they need changing?

Thanks again in advance

Hi, I'm new to this as well don't know about the iclear 16 and it'll depend what juice and how much you use it but with the protank you can rebuild the heads, I tend to re wick when when I change flavours but the actual coils will last a while, get some wire and you'll be good to go for ages

SO two questions then, how often and how will I know if the wicks need changing?

Trust me, you will know.

With the PT it will either stop working or the flavour will get seriously muted. This may be fixable by cleaning the head.

The biggest telltale sign is the nasty flavour. Always give them a clean before you write them off, but if it is gone then there is always the possibility of rebuilding. Plenty of YouTube vids about.

As for how long, it depends on so many factors that I can't really give you a clue. Anything from 3 days to 2 months depending on use, power, juice and 199 other variants.

Welcome to the planet.

Ive still got the original coil / wick in my evods, heavy vaping over three months ;)

Just wash / dry / reuse and you will be fine :D

I've got a mini pro tank 2 and it's excellent, when you say 'not up to the standards of a lot of guys here' don't worry mate it's a quality bit of kit and a great choice to start vaping on and I'm sure you'll love it :) There is no snobbery here, everyone will only be concerned with making sure you're enjoying your vape and staying off the stinkies

You will know when it starts to taste rank and the atomiser stops vapourising the liquid very well.

I go for a new atomiser (or a rebuild) every five days or 25ml of liquid.

I never bother cleaning them, although many people do.
