n00b here!

Been vaping on and off for about 4 years as well as smoking (naughty I know), but for the past 10 days I've converted to solely vaping. I figured if I'm training to be a nurse I need to quit smoking!

I started on 6mg, but now I'm currently vaping 3mg liquids. Being almost 31 :11: and smoking from being 16, I'm actually really impressed with how well I have done, and not even been tempted by my usual triggers.

My set up is nothing fancy, just an Innokin Cool Fire Ultra with a 8ml (or is it 7:doh:) Baby Beast with the V8Baby-T6 0.2ohm coils, apparently it runs best at 70w-90w, but I'm finding they burn out far to quick if I go above 50w.

I do have other tanks, such as a geek vape griffin and a limitless RDTA. But currently I am favouring my baby beast and stock coils (probably out of laziness and ease).

Hi and welcome. Congrats on the quitting. Don't be too hard on yourself if you have a few slip ups along the way. We all know what it's like to quit smoking here. There's plenty of support here and don't be shy in asking any questions.

Hello there and Well done for quitting. After a while you will start finding your own. Most of us now use rebuildables or squonk to find our best vape and flavours (and value for money) usually only once the mental block of quitting stinkies becomes the norm, and the time getting our vapes ready in advance actually becomes fun, and now vaping has become both a ‘habbit’ and a ‘hobby’ for me. I Call vaping now a ‘hobbit’... I wonder if my word can soon be in the dictionary, heck I’m taking credit for vaping being a ‘hobbit’. Anyway, welcome to our world :). Everyone here will gladly help you on the ‘planet’ whenever you need. Just one tip, don’t try mechanical and onky use regulated mods until a long while in... always better safe than sorry.

Oh I know I’m not ready for mechs! I won a broadside Mech a few months ago and gave it away as I was too scared to use it so I gave it away

Thanks for the welcome all

Hi and welcome to the POTV!
Congrats on your decision to switch to vape. Many of us had that not easy experience when tried to break the vicious habit (as i did too). You must know you're not alone here and can find support here :)
