Common knowledge I'm no fan of staples, pissing about with gauges, seems the higher I go the less I like them so have dropped to 35g on these. Done a 3mm and a 2mm, both pretty much off cuts. 0.1x0.5 12ply. All N80.

Will give them a blast shortly.

Chucked the 2mm in the Tsunami, 0.15 single coil, been ripping it for 2 hours. Still not a fan.

I worked out how to make this coil today and have spent about 4 or 5 hours (lost count really) on trying to get it right, I think I'v cracked it. 2 coils. 2 x .45 kanthal 5/6 raps .25 ohms spot on.
