top pin (1) supplied is going to lift your atty about 3mm off top cap and that's with zero battery float
Aaah that's fine. I usually run around 2mm clearance anyway

why ??
Does actually help with regards to heat transfer. If I chain cloud... the top can get fucking hot, as in, to the touch it hurts. Raise it up a bit and voila, no more heat. . I was doing it before av turned up..
you have PTFE top cap
you want to dissipate heat from the deck...you have half a pound of copper heatsink in your hand....
you need every ounce of conductivity and your sitting the deck above the topcap ?
I think it needs to sit down when running this comp. build and up for normal vaping I may be wrong but check with Tubbyengineer
also the mephisto tip connection is delrin.
Okay I'll rephrase that... for everyday cloud chaining. For the comp I will bring something to file down the pin, but that is also only a 5 second draw. I mean for continued clouds. Haha. ~
Why didnt you tell me you were doing that you spanner! I could have reccommended something like this...
View attachment 30263
Its hollow underneath, 23.5mm dia, drill appropriate hole in the centre, place between atty and mod and this will help radiate away some of the heatthats been destroying all your attys - Your mod getting hot is a warning that you're destroying the atty. either learn to like smaller clouds or learn to love Ice, heatsinks and freeze spray...
