Could I use an ultrasonic cleaner? I've got one of those.

I ultrasonic the SS parts but clean brass stuff by hand, Servisol is a good thing.

Noticed your mechs have surface coatings, don't put them in the ultrasonic, the coating will come off.
I only put bare metal stuff in.
