Yup saw that at work this morning, another thing that makes me laugh, MP's are still entitled to a peck of snuff as and when required, and it is freely available and is paid for by the chief whip ( or someone along those lines).
I do admit to sitting at work during avionics tests and browsing the BBC news website, amazing what random nuggets turn up, although there is almost nothing to do with ecigs?!
queen was around my neck of the woods today, opening up the new uk hq for barnados, the charity.
I've seen some impressive buildings, and obviously all the kids are saved, not hungry, well homed and happy with toys by the looks of things.
I get SO upset.
Comic Relief said its approach is within regulatory guidelines. Must be ok then surely. In the same way that the meetings behind closed doors that our lovely government is doing regarding ecigs will also be within similar regulatory guidelines.
funny how one sentence can say 'shitbags to t he core, secrets aplenty, but when all is said and done, somebody somewhere made a rule that says the only answer you can get is feck off we are not telling you shit, and no foul allowed.
Whenever I read these kinds of story condemning charities for making money through investments,I think how much we'd complain if they didn't invest the money. The charities themselves probably don't actually decide where to invest, they're more likely to stick the money in a bank with a reasonable interest rate where an INVESTMENT BANKER then invests the money where they gamble on it making at least x% and anything over that figure is counted as the BANKS profit. As I'm no more an expert at banking as the actual wankers that have brought on this latest recession,I shouldn't really comment on any media story stating such things occur.
