Kabuki...Worth the investment?

lol, that's the one I was going to get before I bought the TI version.... :D

in the comments it says it's made by Steam Tribe. They make decent stuff.

btw , it always freaks me out when someone links to the mobile version on the site.

Look what just arrived!

...Ok, firstly this was almost double what my stainless steel one cost, so is it worth it? for me, if i'm honest ... no not really. :)

The polycarb tank is a nice addition and would make this a more robust tank to take out and about. The finish/look of the tank is pretty nice although honestly it's not all that exciting and just looks like a lump of unpolished/sandblasted metal. It has a P3 connection (which I don't really know anything about other than genuine tanks have these) and a SS adaptor that fits well. The blue drip tip is quite nice, although I'm not a fan of the colour/shade of blue. The blue (and clear for that matter) o-rings are very soft and squshy, I don't know if that's a good or bad thing at the moment. The blue stand is pretty horrible and the white drip tip is a pretty cheap looking POM thing with bad o-rings ... and it comes with what I presume is a fake 1.8 aspire coil. The glass tank is actually a bit rough at the top/bottom and even feels a bit rough on the edges when fitted.. it's not as nice as the glass I got with my SS one.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend as it just doesn't seem as nice overall as the SS one I bought, which was half the price. This will be fine once I've changed the drip tip, o-rings and put the poly tank on as the actual metal parts of the tank are nice but as an overall package, nope not that impressed.

Hi bud, that was quick!

I don't suppose you have any digital scales? wondering if without that SS 510 adapter it is actually lighter than the standard Kabuki?

I have a couple of Provape mods so I'll be interested to see if that p3 connection actually has the correct threads, might pick one up to find out!
Thank you for your informative write up buddy!

I do actually have some scales .... I'll get on that later. .. I'll take a close up of the threads too, that's about the best I can do on the thread thing.

here's some pictures next to my SS version .... even though I was a bit negative before it vapes fine even with the free coil. I'm not in love with the clear o-rings to be honest either though, so hopefully fasttech will get some or i'll be forking out for nice coloured genuine ones.

Top man, much appreciated! Seeing it in the sun like that it does look to be exactly like the provari satin silver finish, I really hope those P3 Threads are correct as it would look sweet sat on my radius. I think it's a good looking tank, like you said maybe not worth the premium over the ss one but if those P3 threads are spot on then it would make it a worthy extra for me.

Really like those drip tips by the way! where did you get those if you don't mind me asking?

agreed, that would be the main reason to buy this over the others ....

oh the tips ..... hang on, they are fasttech specials too :D

I have the blue and green ones above but they have purple, pink and yellow too ... I actually ordered a purple one but I got green :)

I like them because they are mainly white with just a bit of colour through and not too OTT. they are a nice size and fit on the kabuki.
