Kayfun gurgling /leaking

Couple of things then MarcDJay - How are you filling it and has it been a problem right from when you first got it? (if it has, may be worth checking that the evaporation chamber has been machined correctly so the threading is actually allowing it to screw all the way down to meet the deck. Occasionally, a "duff clone" gets through with insufficient threading to screw all the way down. If this is happening, and you have luck on your side, trying the chamber the other way up often makes things right.

Im filling it from the screw at the bottom, till it just reaches the bottom of the clear section.

It has been a constant issue, only bought it a few days ago and to be honestit wouldn't surprise me if it was machining error as the quality control seems almost non-existant (see previous thread).

I've tried screwing the chimney on both ways and there is a slight gap (though it seems airtight with the o ring in place)

You can do a quick check, after building and filling, to see if everything is all sealed and hunky dory by closing the air intake with you finger, having a couple of sucks (without firing), releasing your finger from the air hole and checking that the only air bubbles are coming up from the juice intake channels and nowhere else.
Bearing in mind that doing this will possibly flood, but it is a way to check that it's all sealed how it should be.
If you do this with a filled Kayfun, and a dry (unprimed) wick, you should see bubbles from the juice intake channels. If you don't, and the wick is still getting juice and/or it floods, then there is a sealing problem somewhere along the line, above the position of the chamber base and juice intake channels.

Nice one, thanks for the help. I'll give that a go when I get back in.

If not I'll see if the vendor will allow me to return/exchange for another tank. They already offered a refund after my previous woes

Right I tried this out and im getting bubbles from one side and not the other. Made sure all threads were cleaned and everything was screwed on just over hand tight.

Do you think its a machining issue?

MarcDJay one thing I think you should try is putting a little bit of the wick into the top of the juice channels. Some clones have deeper juice channels than others, the deeper they are, the more liquid will be pulled into the chamber. If you drag a very small amount of the cotton into them then hopefully it will reduce the juice flow enough to stop flooding.

Success!! For now at least.

Tried Crumps trick of tucking the wick down into the juice channels instead of laying it on top (which goes against every YouTube vid I've seen) and it seems to be working, no gurgles or leaks after going through half a tank.

You getting any dry hits that way ?
I was last night so rewicked with just cotton on the deck and it gurgles for a few minutes but sorted itself out after.

None so far mate. Whenever I sat it on the deck it either gurgled constantly or gurgled and then flooded

It can also gurgle if your coil is too close to the airhole, i leave about 1.5 to 2mm gap, if its too low when the wick swells it will wick juice up and on to the airhole level with a capillary action which generally ends up going down the airhole and gurgling

O rings replaced, and ive now wicked it using the @cheersm8 method, but it is still the same. No leaking or weeping yet but literally after the first few vapes it sounds and feels like im slurpinh through a straw.

Try raising the coil a bit higher :)

Doh, posted my reply and then saw the post above lol.
