So a year of cigalikes and dual fuelling, I've been vaping (exclusively) for 8 months now and in that time I've tried a fair view atomisers/mods/juices etc; enough for me to now review something without feeling as though I'm teaching grandma to suck eggs. Or apes to eat bananas - whatever. Ive also spent enough money on shiny shiny vapy stuff to recognise a deal when I see one! I've tried CE4s, mini novas, vivi novas, Aspire Megas, Protanks, Nautilus, Evods, all manner of RDAs, Genesis atties - all absolutely amazing bits of kit... for a couple of hours. But inevitably a head gets gunked up too quickly, there are wicking problems, leaking problems, airflow problems etc. etc. and a day later I'm back on the RDAs carrying a bottle of juice around with me (an inevitably leaky bottle of juice) while I wait for the next exciting (read: eventually disappointing) piece of expensive vape mail to turn up. What I needed was an atty that performed like an RDA, could be rebuilt like an RDA, carried a similar amount of juice to a large clearo and didn't cause me to come up with yet another wacky excuse for why I can't afford to take the missus for a night out in that London.

ENTER THE KAYFUN LITE V2 (clone)!

Now by night I may be a lean, mean vaping machine and all round rock god, but by day I am a humble mechanical engineer - specialising in CNC focussed manufacturing. So please, take my word for it when I tell you that M-Vapes have done an absolutely cracking job in making this RTA.
Admittedly I don't have a real, bona-fide Kayfun for direct comparison but really, who needs that? We're not interested in how similar to another product this looks are we? We're interested in how well this atomiser performs in its own rights. Also how well it fits in my Prada man-bag that I picked up from Dave down the market for a fiver. On with the review!

Opening, Fit and Finish - I' pretty sure the first thing everyone does when they get a new shiny is to take it out of the packaging and fiddle with it. Whilst stuck in traffic on the way home from the stupid, only-late-opening-night-is-a-Wednesday Post Office Collection Office.
Firstly, M-Vapes packaged this atty wonderfully in some black tissue paper inside a velveteen drawstring bag. The Svoemesto Kayfun comes in a rubbish cardboard box! Win for M-Vapes there... but we're not comparing. Inside the bag were several spare o-rings (at least one spare for every o-ring), a set of spare post screws, some spare fill screws, four ready-made coils that look to be in the 1.8Ohm region, all wrapped around silica, a philips mini screwdriver, a flat head mini screwdriver and a spare tank section of the RTA itself (a polycarbonate one, compared to the steel one that the atty is assembled with). Lovely stuff!
Finish wise, this thing is immaculate. The brushed stainless looks to be of the same surface texture as a brushed Nemesis. What with it being the same diameter as the Nemesis, it looks cracking sat on top of it. The only evidence that this has been machined and not crafted by the hands of God is slight, tttttiiiiiinny witnesses of an india stone around the top cap - I'm 99% sure that no one will spot this unless they know what they are looking for and even if they do I count it as a positive, because it shows that each component is inspected properly for burrs and marks as it leaves the machine.
On breaking the RTA down, I could tell immediately that the threads were well machined. They're not too tight, nor are they too loose. No grinding at all. If they can keep their tools as sharp as the ones that this particular atty was made with, they're onto a winner. The exterior quality is continued on the inside with fantastic finishes, fits and seals. If you look REALLY hard, you can see evidence of tool chatter INSIDE the chimney but that's inside - it make absolutely zero difference to the look or function of the device so who cares?! A quick build with one of the coils I prepared earlier and a bit of cotton and she assembles just as pleasingly as she stripped down. Very happy Darkprincelucifer so far. For those interested I put a 2mm, 1.3Ohm coil in as I vape with a Kick 2.
Fill her up with Manabush's Chiricahua Sun, screwed it into the Nemi and.... perfect. We have vapour!! 9/10 on fit and finish.

Flavour - As I explained above, I wanted the performance of an RDA and boy, is that what I got. Incredible flavour. Flavour that spits in the face of ALL clearos, including the Nautilus. Flavour that defecates over Genesis atties. Then smears it all over their stupid, STUPID mesh wicks and leaky top caps. Flavour that is equal to a well set up dripper. There was a faint, odd taste somewhere in the background though so I pulled the juice into a syringe, stripped and washed the atty out (should have done that first - patience is not a virtue of mine), put it back together and this time it was perfect. I imagine there was a teeny bit of cutting fluid left in a thread somewhere - a little bit annoying but easily avoided by following the very sensible precaution of washing everything you buy before you vape! 10/10 on flavour. Tasty!

Throat Hit - This thing really hits. Exactly what you'd expect from a dripper. Not so harsh that you won't be able to vape it though - it'll just take a few puffs to get used to it. It is, however, hard enough that you might want to consider dropper your nic level a touch. 8/10 on throat hit.

Vapour - Big vapour! Dripper vapour! Nuff said. 9/10.

The V2 comes with adjustable airflow but it was set exactly how I like it so I haven't fiddled with it - throat hit, flavour and vapour could be tweaked with this if it's not to your liking.

Leaks - Absolutely none. Not one. No gurgling, no juice in my mouth; nothing. Nada.

Verdict - M-Vapes are a new company, but if they keep manufacturing products like this I wouldn't be surprised if Slowtech have to slow down production due to lack of demand. I am incredibly impressed with this company. Cheapest UK stocked Kayfun clone I could find, arrived at my post office less than 48 hours after I ordered it, quality that is near on perfect - so perfect that I will be ordering another one and won't even entertain the thought of looking elsewhere. I'm so impressed with M-Vapes that I have them bookmarked. And I like a clean computer - it takes a lot for me to bookmark a page. M-Vapes Kayfun Lite V2 clone gets a 9/10 overall - without a doubt the best vaping doodad I've ever bought. I'm excited to see their catalogue grow, but my wallet most definitely isn't. Nor is the missus.

If you're in the market for a new rebuildable, I strongly suggest you have a look at Matt-Imr 's shop:

Nice review and I agree that the kfl from Matt is good. But I just thought I'd point out that Matt or fasttech don't manufacture these.

My only gripe about the kfl from m-Vapes is that the 510 connection is longer than the other 2 I have which means I have to adjust the pin every time I want to change my kfl's around.

Oh I knew that Fasttech don't manufacture them but assumed M-vapes did! Nevermind, wherever he's getting them from are doing a bloody good job.

I got two KFL's from there and their ver1 and ver2 and have different sized 510's so I use 2 Vamo 5's.
I know the picking out the pin drove me mad, hence 2 Vamo's.
Both Kfl's are Very good, I have brought a couple of spare platic tanks as the thread goes (plastic ond metal don't mix) after XXX complete refills.
Got my Nemesis clone from there and thats A+ too.

Just bought another Kayfun Lite from M-Vapes, based on the one I already have and a Nemmy I bought a few months ago, cannot fault any of them, bought a few items from FT ( not Kayfun's) utter rubbish by comparison.
