What's new

LG HG2, HE4 and HE2 - End of the road.

I'd need different insurance - and although you aren't manufacturing, you'd probably need full manufacturers insurance. Which would be a zillion pounds no doubt.

Plus you have rewraps already does this mean they are not covered under your insurance?

He sells torch batteries [emoji3]

LG are targeting e-cig use but also any use other than in power packs, same as Sony. Rewrapping them is only really a problem because their message - printed on the bar metal under the wrap - will be obscured.
Any sensible insurer (for specialist purposes I'm sure they are sensible) will assess the risk and if the risk is obliterated by the use of a sensible wrap on a battery sold with strong safety warnings, should be no problem.

Torchy rewraps - doubt he spends gazillions on insurance?

Torchy leaves the original wrap under his own so maybe he gets around it that way. Ultimately under the Torchy wrap is exactly the same as the manufacturer intended.

It's a real grey area - AXA insurance are happy with my re-wraps as long as it's seen as a re-brand. If LG were to consider me I guess i'd need to take full responsibility instead.

The only other British re-wrapper that I know of is XXXX batteries (30q?) and vaping outlaws, however they just do a 25r rewrap and I think are based in HK and import to London. Remember the big vaping outlaw recall?
