Life after Cotton - Silica Microcoils

I currently use the 0.5mm voodoowool on all my builds and drag thru as many strands to suit the coil.....double strand for micros
wicks exceptionally well, from stealthvape

That's a fair shout as you know i only have 2.5 and its huge not managed to use it sucessfully in anything so go back to cotton ever time, was going to go back and get a smaller diameter but using nothing but 0.5 and just keep adding sounds good, slightly more expensive but cheaper than having mm that is no bloody good for owt

Might try a standard silica build in something tonight determined to make it work for me.

I'm shit ! I get my wick gear out, silica, voodoo, cotton string, cotton wool, start winding wire around say, the voodoo wool & then look at it and go "Fuck this i'm doing a micro coil & cotton wool" Haha, the other stuff doesn't get a look in but i'm convinced some of my attys would benefit from it. Silica virgin.

not sure im with vaporsizer always do micro's but open to try wraps again, all i do know would like for a change go the +ohm department maybe 1.3 4 ish for that 18mg pow for the wow.

I meant 1.6 lol, one step closer to another bobby dry burn, trying this nest lark I think 3mm bastos n .20 kanthal btw my reader always reads .12 over for some reason.

So i just tuck wicks into the apposing sides yeah? I reckon too much in there already.

well feck me no dry burn, very smooth vape even at 18mg probably a little too smooth slighly lower ohm be ok that, I may get into silical after all I do love my cotton tho. n not adapt at wrapping silica either

Edit a few more toots really nice would go lower for 12mg.

good to hear, will taste better after "bedding in" for half tank or so
