Lockdown Extension

Im getting sick of it, all my usual walks out with the dog are busy, though folks I see are following social distancing advice, but the bastards are everywhere, the sooner they are all back at work the better and I can have the whole world to myself again.

Opposite for me, dog walkers everywhere.

I personally think that we should have at least another 3 weeks and review from there. But I also think that the economy of the country is going to play a major role in the date that things begin to ease.

There won't be much of one left.

It does tend to weigh heavy on my mind that people still choose to ignore what the government are saying about staying at home, they are at risk and just don't realise or comprehend the danger. I myself have some family that I don't hear from, like my youngest son who lives with the ex, and my oldest who with his girlfriend is expecting my first grandchild in September, he texts me every night telling me to stay away from people knowing I don't go out anyway, he says anyone can carry the virus even my heart nurse who is there to help me. They are strange times and very worrying and can't be doing people with mental health conditions like me any good at all. When I was younger I probably would be among the idiots that are flouting the rules but I must of got older and wiser as for me this is a scary situation.

I'd be surprised if we see any easing of the lockdown before mid May at the earliest.

I think they'll look to be beginning to ease them by the end of April. However I think the rules during the next stage of lock down, will be considerably more stringent than those of today.

It may help if the numpties in charge, could organise a collation of our current infection levels.

I think the lockdown will be on until the government implements some kind of mass testing. The lockdown can not be ended until there is a mass testing so we actually get a true picture of how many people are really infected

The figures we see I dont think even touch the surface of how many people actually are infected. Which is all the more scary
