What's new

Loco FT17 (Tiny Tank!) - My first mod!

That's absolutly smashing mate. You should be very proud of that. It's a pitty you can't flip the display on the SX350 so you can turn it upside down and your button could go at the top but it's nice as a pinkie firer. I think the long drip tip adds to the look..

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it :D

After gave the box a good hold first to see where I wanted everything, and found that firing the switch with my thumb and 'cupping' the mod was most comfortable for a lil box! Although you can give it the old reacharound if you feel that way inclined.

Glad there is another fan of the long tip :P I do get the odd 'walkie talkie' comment tho!!

Its there! At the front, under the magnet mount thingy.

Was my last 'grey hair' moment.....I had intended for it to be accessable on the side, mounted behind the battery holder....however, I didn't take account of the fact the battery protrudes further than the battery housing when I did my initial design. So I moved the battery holder back...and fortunately, there was room to feed it under the switch to show from the front. Took a bit of chipping away at the mass of hotglue yihi seems to cover everything in. I remember you mentioning what a soab the usb can be to find space for, I found out why!

I'm pretty happy with where it is really, and means no unsightly holes on the case. Most of the time I just switch batteries out. But at least if I have to charge up/upgrade, all I have to do is wap off the cover and plug in. The joy of using magnets instead of screws :D

The SX usb's are bigger than the evolve ones and evolve only has 2 pins for power. Had had to machine out a a bit of the body to fit the sx usb. I like the hidden usb job well done. How long does that 18650 last at 35+ watts ? Only thing that worries me is a 35+watt chip is going to drain a 18650 pretty fast.

Like I said before very impressed.

Thanks :D its like fine artists saying they like your picture :P

The mountain of glue yihi add to the usb just adds to the problem. Glad I managed to think on my toes and find a new and better home for it!

I love this chip for its intuitive menu's and clear display.

The VTC's im using are only just broken in, but i've just been using one a day, changing out in the morning the following day normally around 3.65. I always believed these batts like shallow discharges.

Gave it a good wap at 30 watts the other day. Again it lasted me the day, but I vape less when dripping.

I'll make up a fancy build, stick it on 50 watts with a fresh battery especially for you :D (any excuse ha)

I put my DNA30 up to 30W just to see.. Far too hot a vape for me, but I'm a wimp lol..

What size did it finish up at? 80mm x 40mm x ??
