Hey guys,

I'm Looking at possibly getting a squonker soon as they look quite easy to maintain and I am getting fed up of my current premade coils in my cleito tasting of rubber. You may need to bare with me as im not very technically minded when it comes down to some things lol. So if I was to purchase one what would I need? Bearing in mind I'm subohming atm. Cotton, prewires coils and a ohm reader? My sweet spot seems to be around 40-50 watt so I imagine I would need 0.4-0.5 coils? What material would be best and where could I purchase. Also any good recommended mods out there? Thanks guys

Dtl as haven't tried mtl before and I think regulated for safety reasons. Price wise depend really, don't want anything shit, 60-80. It doesn't have to be the best in the market as I would be new to squonking so don't really want anything over confusing.

The wraith seems to fit all the criteria there, 75w regulated, halfway not bad atomiser and about 80 squid.
Another option would be the Kanger 160w, but you WILL want a new atomiser for it, the stock one is shocking. However, since you can pick up a 160 for about £45, you'll have some change to get a nice Velocity v2 or Tsunami bf.
Both take 18650 batteries (the wraith one, the 160 two), and both will want a bit of coiling knowledge.

I quite like the look of the wraith one, looks tidy. The kanger looks to chunky for me and to me looks more like a mans mod lol, I'm a woman btw lol. I think the wraith will fit in my hand better. Ok so if I was to purchase this one have you got any tips or any advise on what prewired coils to get, I have heard the ss coils are better for safety.

KangerDrip box 2 seems decent enough and is just coming into stock in uk,saw it yesterday for 47quid.Its regulated and i think 60 or 80w

The 160 dripbox is a bit big in wee hands, ask @Miss Pepper.

It will be well worth your time a good afternoon at least watching squonker reviews and coil building - Ruby Roo and Grimm Green have some good ones.
Premade coils, ss is fine but will be low resistance, be aware. If you get a regulated gadget kanthal will be fine. Again read thro some threads here, watch some you tube and keep asking questions.

Can you recommend me one? I'm not fussed if the Rda is the greatest because I haven't used one before, I would just like to see how I get on with a squonker and if I get on ok then upgrade.

I'm not the chap who knows about regulated gadgets 'm afraid.
But the V2 Dripbox could be a good start for you, £48 I've seen them for. Other than that you'll need to ask the other apes.

Again I've said it before but really liking the wraith. Well built,10ml bottle, 80w and fits with hand perfect. 24mm rda' s fit fine and decent battery life running about 40w.
