Hi, I had the first dripbox and moved on to the Dripbox 360 - having had issues with both of them. The 360 is big and chunky, but I dropped it maybe a distance or 3 inches and the plastic latch that holds the battery shut snapped. The original dripbox was great at first, but the fire button started to jam. I cleaned it out and left it a week but after a few days the button started to jam again. I have looked at the Dripbox 2, but I really need something that can hold 2 batteries so I have ruled that out.
Looking at making a new purchase soon.

Definitely sounds like the Council of Vapour Wraith could be an ideal first squonker for you. When you mentioned smaller hands I thought of the Pico Squeeze but it's probably not going to have enough power for you from your requirements, so look at a Wraith 
.
Coils, early on you don't necessarily need to wrap your own, there are plenty of decent quality prewraps available that you simply and easily install onto the Velocity style deck which makes life incredibly simple for ease of installation. Just remember to half the resistance of any prewrapped coils you do purchase as for best results you'll want dual coils in the RDA . That gives you tons of choice . Fasttech do lots of prewrapped coils for cheap as an example and they're actually not bad quality . I've recently purchased a load of SS hive, fused clapton, and tiger and they're not gad. You just need to watch the resistance remembering it'll probably be halved

Decent cotton is very important for a decent vape and for good wicking performance. These days we really are getting spoilt with more and more cottons becoming available specifically for vaping rather then some that were adopted from other uses. Of course there is good old Muji (a classic example of an adopted cotton that works incredibly well for vaping . Otherwise, check out Fuzion, Shake and Vape and Cotton Bacon V2. The latter is the pricier of the 3 but not necessarily the best performer however. It's highly popular and great stuff, but it takes a fair while when you've just wicked for it to break in and full flavour to come through, when it does, good flavour, also quite a bit of waste. Fuzion and Shake and Vape are specifically for vaping, you get huge amounts for your money and little waste from them. Both give full flavour right from the off and perform well. Fuzion clinches it slightly for me, but they're all good. Watch some videos on using each one for specifics .
