I'm not massively experienced at this stuff, I have an origen v2, a tobh and a magma, the derringer competes well on flavour with the right coil. As always coil height is key

Cheers. Sounds good enough for me. To look at the derringer it screams cloud chaser but like you say, the amount of air options are there so it ought to be ok for boring farts like me... I'll think on, maybe it'll have its day

The difference for me is that the AFC actually works. On the tobh which is the one I am most familiar with reducing the airflow is kinda ineffectual, but on the derringer (even a cheap clone) it just works

I know what you mean, quite a few drippers have been that way, air leaks through the gaps in flow rings or wherever. A good one should shut it off imo. If the derringer does then i might be tempted, it just looks so good as a dripper to put in my pocket or take to work. I have another atty on route for now but i might try one some time, it's good to get some views from people before pulling the trigger sometimes, especially after a device has had a chance to have some varied use. I think the overall verdict speaks volumes with that one.
