What's new

looking for some tank advice

I have the authentic with the restrictor pack (which imo only just does enough to not be described as "nothing") but from what I know of the clones they have a slightly tighter pull overall, the SXK in particular.

Its not a bad tank by any means I just see it as being designed as a lung hit subohm tank first and a tootle puffer second whereas the V3 mini is the other way round.

I actually find my SXK mini k5 a good bit looser than my no name full size clone. Didn't know the authentic is even looser again. Glad I'v not shelled out for one if that's the case.

The Kayfun V3 Mini is similar in dimensions to the mini Nautilus so won't be an ugly assault on the eyeball.
Airflow is infinitely adjustable, although fiddly, but once set right can be forgotten about.
Deck is a bit small so you need good eyesight, but once built the coil will last for a year at MTL wattage.
Top fill, and juice flow control is a doddle.
Possibly some issues with o-rings, especially the SXK version, so get a couple of packs of spares.

Mine is in regular use and NEVER leaks.
I got these two, but I prefer the non SXK version

Edit: I also "lashed out" and bought a couple of different drip tips, which I prefer

My clone mini v3, the airflow grub screw doesn't work, just doesn't affect the airflow at all. Anybody have any advice or had a similar problem and been able to fix it?

@zouzounaki having not tried the clones I'm only going on what I'm told so take it for what it is, by all accounts the sxk v5 has a comparable draw to the authentic with the restrictor on.

It's possible they might have made the mini wig wider airflow I suppose. I had to stick a little bit from an old ce4 tank in the air hole to close it off a bit, and the adjustment ring makes barely any difference. Other than the airflow it's decent though.

mine is a no name one. it didn't work so i kept screwing and screwing and with it right in it was shorting. so i just took it out. and now i seem to have lost both that one and the spare.
