looks like ive cracked the kayfun

well with all your help ive managed to get the kayfun coiled !! 1st 1 i tried was good for a couple of puffs then tasted burnt . a quick check on youtube and i saw my mistake . i had too much cotton wool twisted too tightly . re-wicked with less cotton looser and it's working a treat . i dont like the juice ive got in it though as i only had a little of my nice juice left so played safe and that went in the nautilus .

ive been vaping on it for about 10 minutes now , no burnt taste , no gurgling , plenty of vapour even at 1.9 ohms and its vaping superbly

oh and it looks soooooo much nicer on my mod than the nautilus . all being well my juice order from steamgunk should arrive tomorrow so when i get in from work il put in a new wick , fill it up with captain custard and vape away with a big ol cheesy grin on my face .

still need to practice getting my coils neater , but that will come with time . big thanks to everybody for the advice that got me enjoying my kayfun

Miss Pepper this isn't the first time I've cracked a tank. It didn't crack from me dropping it or anything, it's always the juice. I need to get some of those kayfun quartz kits.

Why not use the steel insert instead of the clear window thats what I do when vaping Spider venom

aint they just ! i was surprised how small the deck was . on youtube it looks much bigger with more room to work . on a plus side though i even just managed a silica wick build . 1.4 ohms on 18mg captain custard . vaping really well , but hitting too hard , very strong on the throat . think i need to either drop the nic or up the resistance .

rebuilt it twice since . now ive got it running at 1.4 ohms with steamgunk strawberry cream tart . great vapor but not loads of flavour . although i put that down to the fact the juice was only made friday .

Well done. Just get that coil tidy & avoid the hot spots. I think you were wise to go with some lesser liked juice too at first because if you need to go back in for maintenance you can loose juice, quit a bit of juice. Best of luck with it.
