Hello squonking bredren, this is what I learnt today- I've got a champion rda in thr strike 18 as recommended by eyeballkid and as I used it more, and paranoid about dry hits, my thinking was, if it's over fill there's no chance of throat kill. Well day dreaming and squonking kind of don't and do work. After a few days I found when I filled chamber the effect was neutral as I toted then there be a sweet spot of 5 totes then the'chamber pot is emptying.' tones woul come into a tote. So I looked at my chamber when it was full and realised the coil build was too close to the deck, so the neutral muted totes were caused by the wicks and coil swimming in juice this obviously explains my 5 totes of vape perfection as the juice level went below the coil, and in turn the 'quickly chamber pot is emptying.' So I realised a wick submerged even half sub merged was my grief bearer. So I took case off and raised the coil to about 1 mil away from the drip tip hole and now my coil is always above max juice level my 5 supremely classic totes have now become a perfect tote til I need to squonk up the juice again. If I'm telling what's already been explained by someone already, I apologise for my moment of epitheny. But for those who didn't realise the effects of a flooded chamber with a coil to low please be aware, cheers

Sorry bud I should Have pre warned you to keep that coil above the parapet less it be drowned. It doesn't take too long to get the feel. I tend to give her a little nudge everytime I pick it up unless I'm on the go. Then I try to minimise the juice on the deck.
Glad it's still suiting you well.

No worries mate, I worked it out, are all bfs like this?

That’s useful to know, will keep it in mind when I build this again (prob tomorrow) after I put the solid pin in (cheers @simong ) and can get rid of this bit of cocktail stick..

It depends on the design. Some literally fill the deck when you press the button and wet the wicks then draw all excess unwicked liquid back into the bottle. The noname plug in and sentinel do this where as some like the strike allow for a small liquid reservoir by keeping the bf pin above the deck.

Yep totally see the logic in both and pros for both. Well I'm now about to ss mesh and coil The magical universe of a nextera squonking genesis, well excited. I can see why people buy so many different products and spend so much money. Cheers

I squonked mine so hard earlier liquid shot out of the mouthpiece like a fountain.

... not used to this super soft bottle in the pulse yet. :D

Is that a Goldilocks bottle or an equally soft bottle? They are techy buggers,I went back to the pico factory bottle, the Goldilocks was just a sod when putting it on filled with juice and I'm not a fan of top feeder apparatus despite making a lot of sense when using Goldilocks bottles, right now to the nextera adventura

just the regular bottle that comes with the pulse mod mate, it's really soft.

Well, just meshed with an old ss wick cut it down and coiled the old nextera. Squonked for a bit then changed out the bf for standard tank. I keep making coils that come out just under 1 ohm, so the pico squeeze wattage came out high, I shoved it on my Tesla cigs stealth that has nothing but ugly over weight charachter about it. Norah battys tights attract less attention. Went from 7 to 9 watts and the sweet spot was found. I will wait for my ijoy before I squonk on the nextera again. It's a 2 mm ID coil 6 wraps .25 gauge ss wire. Very efficient wicking thanks to tank and deck design.i would Have greater peace of mind if it was threaded rather than push fit though. Confused by what I prefer now, ss mesh or cotton, no I'm simply content with using both. Right, rambled on over
