Magma clone shorting out

GREAT now when i screw my sile lite all the way in it shorts but works fine if i leave it a little loose! fffffffffffffffuuuuuu

Sounds like a problem with the positive pin in the mod. Have you got a different mod you could try?

Only a mech mod, I tried that and it works. Multimeter in the post. Basically this magma has ruined my istick.

Eleaf Istick pin fix anyone?

Don't own an istick but seen plenty of people having issues with it similar to this.

They fixed it by raising the 510 pin on the mod a little. Carefully lever it up with a paper clip or something.

I do own a magma clone and recall the 510 threads/pin are longer than most atties so by screwing it onto the istick you may have depressed the pin too far for other atties.

Not 100% sure about the magma issue though, does the 510 pin protrude from the threads much?

tried it mate, doesnt make any difference. I'm thinking maybe the insulator on the 510 pin on the eleaf might be buggered

Yeah could well be. You said they work fine on your mech mod so it's a pretty good guess that the coils are OK. Although next time don't test it that way.

Yeah raising the pin isn't doing anything. The magma pin isn't particularly long, but it did feel rather tight when i screwed it on the first time. The sile lite that ive been using for a good few months has quite a long pin but it's spring loaded.

Sounds like what happened tp my mpv2. Put magma on it and it looks like it split the positive pin insulator on the mpv

Yeah, it's definitly a problem with the istick. I've been using the magma on a mech for a day or so now and its fine, better than fine.

Were you able to fix your mpv2?
