Mixing and Understanding

BooBoo, I'm feeling a lot better now, thanks, almost finished the antibiotics too.
I made what was supposed to be a plain chocolate vape to start with, found I needed a lot of the PA chocolate, then it tasted same as a FA one bought made I didn't like, so in went a little EM and 25% Bavarian Cream. It's now a passable cream vape with chocolate undertones, not sweet.
So I've knocked up some basic Vanilla Custard, thinking this is so simple I'll make 10ml. It's been well shaken but I can't speed steeping by using sunlight because it's dark and the forecast doesn't seem to include sun. That's my basic mix, but I have a steeping wait before finding out if I need to do any tweaking.

Could someone please advise me as a total beginner in mixing how much it will cost me to get started with mixing??

You can do it for as little as 20-30£ start up.

It depends where you buy your stuff from and what you buy of course. I got 54 mg PG nic base from Leisureliquids for £8.99, plus some Capella flavours at I think £2.50 each.
Cig-eliquid and Leisureliquids sell the cheapest base and have good prices for syringes, bottles and so on, leisureliquids even sell tobacco leaves for steeping. Cig-eliquid sell Hangsen flavours, many with odd names (one is called Turtle), £6.99 for 20 ml. You can get everything you need, with the largest selection of concentrates, from Liberty Flights. Their base costs more than the other two but they have FA, DV and PA flavours. Then you just need no-nic PG and or VG, even the pharma grade is very cheap although some people just buy VG as Boots Glycerine. Personally I prefer to buy what I know is 100% VG, pharma or food grade, even though it costs a littlew more than the stuff Boots sell because I don't know if Boots is only VG. If you use VG only you'll need to add vodka or deionised water (not the stuff from Halfords) to turn it into Aqueous Glycerine or it is very gloopy and too thick. It's a bood idea to use a long thin clear tube called 'Bryand Drawing Needle' if you syfon Vg especially straight from the bottle, a normal 18 guage needle takes forever and a lot of pulling on a syringe plunger expecially with VG.
I'm a newbie at this, only made a couple of little bottles so far, but even I managed not to screw up, no frankenjuice although my very first was maybe ambitios (made up recipe as I went) and I think I can improve by adding a little different flavour.
First time, zero confidence, second, time. It grows on you and once you have your supplies a bottle costs pence, not pounds. I'm still stocking up on flavours as I like variety. :)

It depends on what sort of mixer you want to be. If you want to experiment it costs a bit more to get well kitted out than if you just want to mix up a big bottle of concentrate with a big supply of base & dilutant to a fixed percent someone's given you :)
