Hi All

I hope this is not a silly question, but does different mods affect the taste of the eliquid.

Example I am using aspire evo with Atlantis 0.5 ohm coils. I love the taste when I pair it with the innokin cool fire. But when I charge the cool fire, and put the tank onto aspire skystar (210 w), the e liquid is not as prominent flavour wise. I ran boths mods on 36/37 w respectively.

Any ideas apes?

Thanks Ebs

Only is the sense that some are not as accurate as others. Some fire too high, some too low.

I think different mods do sometimes vary in the power that's going to the coils, despite showing the same wattage. I think it's to do with the chips that run the mods.

I have an e-leaf Ipower 80w and I love that wee mod but most of my others all give a better vape for my tastes. They should all technically be the same at the same wattage but I have noticed a difference sometimes myself tbh.

Try turning your aspire up a wee bit and see if you can match the same vape at a slightly higher wattage.

Edit: What Lugg said.

This won’t burn out my coils, say if I giro 40w?

It shouldn't if you're getting the same vape as on the coolfire. It's just the accuracy of the chip and not the actual power that's going through it.

It's only supplying voltage to the coil, nothing else, there's no magical flavour generators in them. So it's not anything you can't adjust for on a variable power device.

Ok cheers, just checked and can increase the watts to 40 and it’s still in range. I’ll try that and hopefully that will improve the taste.

Thanks All :)

Some read resistances differently so you may have to increase or decrease the power you vape at.
