Moving up from VW to Mechanical

Ive made a decision to move onto having a mechanical mod after using a VW for the past 6 months. having watched several YouTube reviews and read more then I understand, I think ill go for a Nemisis (or clone at least for the starting budget). Question is, what else do I need to get started?

ive read about kicks and button Magnets but cannot tell if they're luxury add ons or serious requirements.

Also, do standard pro-tanks work with mech mods or do I need a specialist atomiser?

Mech mods work great when trying to get the best out of rebuildable atomisers, as you can build a very low resistance coil without being restricted to the amp limitations of the electrical components found in VV/VW mods. If you're planning on using a Protank, you might want to consider a Kick to give it the extra power.

I was happy with a recoiled protank 2 about 1.5 ish ohm, however popping a kayfun on my mech is pretty pretty good,.

I don’t understand those vamo control heads, they're a pointless waste of time in my opinion. What people don't think about (myself included until it was pointed out to me) is that you will have 2 buttons to press to fire the atty, one on the mechanical mod and the one on the control head.

Good point buddy I never thought of that hahaha!!!! Still got to use them though as I bought my mechs by mistake. Guess it will be a two fingered job from there on....

yeah i'd go with a nemi from mvapes 25quid bud cant go wrong kicks are not a requirement they just allow for VW in your mech - as for the magnets you dont really need em the buttons on nems are tip top without the thing i'd say is make sure you have good batteries and a good charger like a nitecore i4 charger and some sony vtc4 batteries from myepack
