Review Muji Cotton (japanese cotton)

Seems to be good stuff, taste doesn't seem to be any different to cotton wool to me, but flavour is not as muted as it seems to be with Rayon, what do you guys do with the outer layers of the pads as they seem to be a lot tighter woven than the inside layers and not as fluffy?

it's the same cotton as far as I can tell - just a little more tightly pressed - I just use it in my wicks and they seem to work fine.

I use them to wipe up spilt juice on my table and mods, although seeing as someone just said use them as wick i might have to give it a go :P

Also if anyone is paranoid about the seed particulates you can get some here that doesn't have any in
Japan Muji Daily Facial Cut Cotton Pad (120 shreets) 65x50mm | eBay
they are slightly smaller packs but bigger pads and slightly more expensive (i have five packs of the seedy and one pack of these)

Just got some of your cotton threw it at a kayfun and a heron. Went in coil with no problem and wicks like a goodun. I will be back for more. And if any body reads this get some.

Got some after reading this thread. Impressed so far. And such a big bag for the price.
Best thing about it is how easy it is to build. Just cut off a strip and stick it in. Taste is great although I've only just got back into cotton when I realised I could microcoil my Sophia's successfully.
Recommended.

I'm still waiting for mine being delivered, ordered on 7th and got email conformation on 9th. Only when it hadn't arrived did I discover that mines coming from China lol

Mine arrived this morning so without hesitation I got to rewicking everything with it.

The Taifun GT, my Kayfun Lite, the Squape, the Plume Veil, everything.

Here's my first thoughts compared to organic cotton...

The wicking is just in another league! Especially noticeable in the tanks. I could only go to maybe 13-13.5 watts on my kayfun before it would give me a burnt taste after a couple of toots.

I have tried 15 watts, fine, 17 watts, fine, 20 watts, fine, 22 watts, fine. And that's where I stopped!

Flavour for me is no different to organic cotton balls at 12 watts, where I usually vape at with my RTA's. But beyond 13-14 watts where cotton can't keep up when chain vaping, its just awesome.

Its also way, way easier to use than cotton balls. Cut what you need, split it in half and your good to go. I've been using the outer portion too and not separating it from the inner fluffier stuff. It makes it easier to roll and prevents snagging on your coils too.

I've used maybe a 15mm strip cut off one of the pads to rewick all my stuff, so I've got enough to last, basically forever for me.

So Muji it is from now on. Until the next latest and greatest wicking material is found [emoji1]

I'm going against the grain here, I actually get better flavour from my organic cotton, I totally agree that the Japanese stuff wicks a lot faster and seems to last longer before it needs changing.

It's easier to use and wicks better and comes into its own in low build dripper.
As for taste it's no different to cotton. So if you have an extra couple of minutes and you know how to build using normal cotton balls you are not going to gain any difference.

A lot of hype over nothing really, unless your getting constant dry hits then this may be of advantage alternatively learn to build properly.

Taste is a marginal improvement on organic cotton at best, but for ease of use and improved wicking speed it deserves the hype.
Goodbye little cotton clouds ... fast, fluffy and lumpy gives way to faster, square and even.
