I've got a dual 7 wrap, 0.5mm around 2.5 mm bit. It was a bit mental at first. Might do the same build with 0.4mm and see if that's any more reasonable.

Nice! I see you had the o ring come out the 510 too. Wonder if it's a common thing with fat daddy's? Been a few mentions of it now. Mine did it a few times but seems to have stopped now.

It probably does. I'll have a tinker later. It seemed that the "shoulder" of the battery was butting up against that red insulator.

Quite impressed with the oomph behind this little beast though.

Mine doesn't even have that red insulator, take it it's just a bit of heat shrink round the dog leg on the positive copper. Seems like a good idea but just had a closer look at mine and even if the battery wrap was damaged I couldn't make it make contact with that part.
Would a magnet on top of the battery do the trick?

Nice! I see you had the o ring come out the 510 too. Wonder if it's a common thing with fat daddy's? Been a few mentions of it now. Mine did it a few times but seems to have stopped now.

Yep this happened to me. I was removing the bottle and tube and I just seen the o-ring fire out of the 510 connector. Lucky I seen it with my eyes bounce off the cupboard door across the kitchen.

Ahh that's maybe the thing, taking the bottle with no atty attached. Can't recall if that's when it happened with me.
I've stripped mine right down including the fat daddy since then for a clean. The only bit that doesn't seem to come apart is the spring loaded bit. There's really nothing holding that ring in, no shoulder for it to sit in or anything.

I just reseated the o-ring by placing it back in the connector and screwing an atty on which pushed the o-ring back into place.

2. Does anyone know what size they are as I'm guessing a spare or 5 would be useful.

3. Did I miss the bit about replacement bottles?

4. I'm guessing there are maintenance instructions on the FB page?

1. I have never tried but I would expect it is there for good reason as I believe all bf fat daddy's come supplied with them.
