My first complaint about Fasttech, and I might be wrong...

Still, I hope the lesson was learned it will serve FastTech as a nudge to improve their customer service.
Definitely taught me how to use PayPal Resolution effectively.

i am going through something with fasttech as i wasnt happy with the quality of a tank, so they asked me to record a video detailing the issues then send the video to an app and send it back to myself then send them the link, so i did this, then this morning they have sent an email asking is there a local shop that could carry out the repairs and to get a price for this??? i have emailed back saying there isnt a shop near me that could do this, and i have suggested they issue a gift certificate to the value of the tank and that will be the end of it ...waiting on a reply which usually come through at 6am

My recommendation: if you paid with PayPal, open a PayPal claim if they don't get back with a positive answer soon.

got to be honest every single email i have ever sent them has always been answered within 24 hours, i will see what tomorrows email brings and take it from there

"i'll Note" ?? i wasn't arguing with you there mate :18: was just saying i am not at the point where they have pissed me off yet, i expect to go through some unconventional steps to reach a solution, but i was just being honest in saying that they respond quick enough, i laughed when they asked me to record a video but i did it as it was such a strange request i felt i had to

No worries, I agree 100% that Fasttech respond quickly, its just that the responses they offer often fall short of the a satisfactory outcome.
Apologies if my formal manner of writing does, and will on occasion, elicit the sense that I am having a go or treating anyone with disdain. Not at all. Far from it. Wouldn't cross my mind. Furthest thing from it. Not my thang, not my thang at all, except when it is, obvs!

Just received an email from them this morning I have been offered a full refund with the choice of the payment back via PayPal or as a gift certificate

I've taken the gift certificate
