What's new

'My First RTA' for my Bro inlaw for a gift?

Whatever you get him a bit of faff will be involved, I have a few mates that only use stock coils, a couple have watched me build (in about 15mins) and went fk that.
As long as you are sure he's up for up.... is I suppose what Im saying

I do know what you mean.... and to be honest I'm not 100% sure he will stick with it, but the last two times he's got me to buy coils for him online, I could see that he was looking at my 'cheap to run RDAs' with envy. :D If he has one then he has a choice and a option if he doesn't want to buy coils... I expect he'll still use the stock coils at work but I think I could ease him in to using the RDA in the evenings and whenever he's at home. It took me a while to switch over completely and feel comfortable with that, I expect he'll be the same. I might get him some pre-made coils to start with though.

expromizer v4.

if the rta given to me was an excellent tank but a clone, id still be happy. its all about the performance. i have dvarw clones and its usually what i love to use.

in case you would consider a clone, doggy 2k16. and if you want to spend more for him, get him an aegis solo with his rta. as a newbie, he wont ruin his mod if it leaks.

I have no idea about all the other RTAs mentioned at all but I will say I used the Ares 2 for the first time today (first RTA I've ever used), it comes with 2 premade coils and their are loads of videos on how to build, it's easy to get the coil in and it's pretty forgiving with the wicking. It comes with wire, cotton, a tool to help build any future coils and a little screwdriver too. For a beginner like me it's a good shout.

Yeah, that's exactly why it was my first thought.... That Expromizer does look like a good option too... it's not for 6 or 7 weeks so I have a bit of time to think about it. If he does get into it, then he'll probably want a second anyway so it could get the one he didn't have for Christmas. :D

The Expromizer is a cracking rta mate. Simple to build and wick and the top airflow is a breeze to use whilst also making it leak-proof. Jfc at the bottom too. The draw is silky smooth and the flavour batters the KFL 19 for me.

Theres a few selling the expromizer on ali express for £13-14, with the adjustable juiceflow it would suit either thinner or thicker liquids. I have it on 2 juice holes for 50/50 or 60/40.
one hole should be good for higher pg liquids.
