My new/first squonker

Thought I'd share this with you all. Not really into rda's and tbh tc isn't really that important to me. So why build a dna40 squonker? I hear you ask [emoji1]. Answer is.... I just wanted to, maybe just the challenge of it all, I dont know, I'm a bit weird like that. Any ways here it is.




Built with parts from all the far flung corners of the world including China, U.S. and not forgetting Italy with a little bit of UK to balance it all out [emoji1]. It's made of beech with a mahogany door, has the new style Fatdaddy 510 With SS post (didn't fancy passing juice through a brass one).

I'm actually really enjoying it at the minute, running some Dr jackal through it in tc mode and I have to admit, not bad at all. The mods working perfectly. The clone chalice I bought for it was absolutely garbage though tbh so used the BF pin from it and managed to shoehorn it to fit an old magma I had knocking about.

So I've satisfied my build itch for now, how that last for is anyone's guess, I'll probably have it on the classifieds before long, after all the DNA 200 is out soon lol.

very nice and iam sure i`ve seen that box before somewere is it a italian company who make it (cant remember the name right now) and the chalice 3 clones are shit i got one awhile ago used it once then sold it

Yep that's the one, I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of making one, there very approachable with regards to design and the enclosures are fantastic quality. Fast turnaround as well, I think it was 5 days from order to the door.
