I use a vape pouch attached to my belt on a daily basis, a cheap ft one. It's fairly worn out so I'd be happy to give you my thoughts on your product (if successful).

Great idea matey. If it can survive a week in quite a harsh environment of dust, damp and splashes of plaster as well as be able to withstand bashes, snags and other such rigours and traumas then I would buy one off you for sure.

The last leather one I had made lasted about a year which was pretty good.

Others I have had fail the first time I stand up and it catches on something - rips and tears off it's loop

Ladies and gentlemen the give away is now closed the draw will be done tonight by my famous assistant (the wife) at 8 pm

"Live .... direct from the studio... welcome fellow apes to the mod case wonder draw....."

(lights dim music builds)

"Tonight we have vapesmarters beautiful assistant "her indoors"

(lights flood onto the manicured hand as it reaches into to pull out the winners)

"And the winners are......"

(the audience hold their breath a baby in the distance starts wailing)

tobywonkanobi and tootingyoda

The crowd goes wild the baby starts screaming music thunders lights flash......

so we have 2 winners both will receive a mod case within the month both cases will be different designs, so I will need both winners to PM me to tell me there make and model of their "Daily" carry round mod I will ask them the size and shape of the mod and what they do for a living.

the case will be a natural leather case treated and dyed the process of making the case I will post on here in a separate thread with updates as I go along (i may well stick a few pictures on also comments ideas suggestions are all welcome as I start.

In the meantime, I will now retire to the workshop to do a couple of other things in the pipeline, thankyou to all who have posted to the people who didn't win sorry maybe next time. I will think about all the losers intensely as a compensation.

Oh, well that's some super smashing news! [emoji847][emoji847][emoji847] @vapesmarter - thanks so much for doing this. There is no rush, either for me or @tootingyoda, we're both patient guys. [emoji106]

I'm really interested to see what you come up with (as well as a little jealous of you having a creative side.)[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Wow nice one @vapesmarter. I've just got in from the hospital but I'll get the dimensions of my eleaf pico after I've eaten. Looking forward to being your guinea pig mate. I thank you :)

right

on with the case and all that

on the dvd in the workshop tonight is Charles Bronson for artistic inspiration

im cutting some oak plank offcuts to make a wooden eleaf pico as a form here on the kitty notice the lack of safety guards yes the blade is razor sharp hasn't got me yet

IMG_2024.JPG

set the machine to a 45 degrees so i can start the round edges

IMG_2025.JPG

see... now sand the corners sides so, its the same size as the pico in real life, now to turn the tank

IMG_2026.JPG

so the tank is a basic cylinder so cut it down to 23mm x 30mm odd

next make the press for the form

IMG_2028.JPG

so cut the holes out my son has my jigsaw so this will be tricky

IMG_2030.JPG

ok so here's how it works you cut some leather to the press size then place the pico and tank on the leather over the holes place a piece of wood on the top of them and clamp the lot together

the wooden pico and tank will push the leather through the holes whilst forming their shape in the leather, simple well not quite but you get the gist

as charlie said "oh how we laughed"

more soon
