New member, help needed please

Hello there @Hissing_Munky
I can't add a whole lot to what has already been said above. I found the GT4 coil didn't last particularly long when I used it so I don't use it any more.
One thing about the coils though is to make sure you prime them properly before vaping otherwise you will shorten the life of any coil. I like a DL vape every now and again at 35-40w and I now mainly use a SMOK Baby V2 with the S2 coil.
As @rew mentions the GTX coils are excellent and though I don't have the GTX22 tank I hear good things and should suit you for RDL.
Forgive me, like I said, my knowledge on everything is (severely, apparently lol) lacking, but what is the difference between DL and RDL? From context I'm assuming they're not the same thing? And the Smok baby V2 is a tank? Thankyou for replying :)

So, RDL is the same as DL in terms of how you inhale directly into your lungs but RDL means that the airflow is restricted. DL you'd really have the airflow wide open but RDL the airflow is tightened right down and tends to be at lower wattages.
The SMOK Baby V2 is indeed a tank.

Hi welcome to the forum :) I've found the GT coil life to be a little hit and miss recently too. I would give the GT Ccell coils a go, they use a ceramic crucible between the cotton and the wire so usually last a lot longer, some people don't like them and the flavour isn't as good as the GT4 meshed but I've always had very good coil life from them.

Hi everyone, first time posting anything, I need some help if any of you lovely people are willing to read this, might be a bit long for which I apologise. Been vaping for a few years now, but my actual knowledge on vaporisers and everything is lacking some. I recently purchased the vaporesso swag II for two reasons, firstly it seems pretty identical to my old one that I got on with really well (wismec reuleaux RX75 with Armor mini tank and WS-M 0.27ohm coils) and secondly the reviews I found for it were generally pretty good. I like the vape, and the tank seems good (not sure what it is, the standard on that came with it), but I'm having problems with the coils (GT4) . I seem to kill them very quickly even though I wouldn't exactly class myself as a chainvaper, I vape in the 30-50w range in general anyway so have the right coils for that range and always follow the instructions. When they work they work really well but they burn out on me way to quickly to feel comfortable spending more moneys on them. So after all that I suppose my question is, can anyone advise me on any of it? Im looking for longer lasting coils and bearing in mind I'm not really up for the ones you have to build yourself as I'm pretty lazy..... Are there other coils that fit I could try? Should I get a whole other tank with different coils? Should I change it out for my old tanks and coils? (think they may be going out of date/production so don't know if that's viable?) If you've got this far and can help me it would be greatly appreciated, thankyou.
Smok coils suck, they do last along time but i think its because they are so harsh to begin with u dont know when theyve gone bad.

Try some geekvape supermesh. The x1 are rated 30-90 watts, but i think they work best at like 60 or so.
The x2 are rated for 30-45 watts so they should give great battery life.

I cant recommend enough the vaporesso gt ccell2 coils, but they have a somewhat restricted lung hit, but they r designed to work better with higher vg juice (i wouldve thought the opposite, but apparently thats the case) they work great at 30-35 watts and give great taste and vapor and i think last the longest.

There is a list somewhere the @OzoreXS did thats color coded and breaks down all the characteristics of the coils that r compatable

Oh yeah, welcome to the planet of the vapes:)

Edit: also the vaporesso mesh and gt4 mesh are great options too, but they work up around 65 to 75 watts also, so will kill your battery quick

Oh yeah, 2 things, the ccell2 coils work just fine with 50/50 juice, just they also work ok with 70/30 juice, if u dont mind the restricted hit.

Also, i have no idea why your coils r burning out so quick, as was said previously sometimes they can be hit or miss. Other than that, the rest is common practice...

Make sure u prime them right, make sure to let em sit a cpl minutes in the juice once u install them, dont run them at too high a wattage, dont let the juice get so low that the juice ports are exposed, try not to use ultra sugary juice, buy a pack from a completely different source. Could be your shop got a box of bunk ones. Make sure u r only firing them when u are actually taking a drag. Cant really think of any other reasons

Ah, thankyou. Well I think i vape DL then, airflow is always wide open, when I gave up smoking I gave up smoking weed as aswell....and I smoked a lot of weed, like on the way to work at 6am etc....so I was always and still am really looking for a hit that matches it, and although I do quite like the cloud I'm not a cloud chaser as were, just enjoy it :)

Thankyou :) I believe I had a ccell one that came with the kit and didn't have much luck with that either....starting to think it's me

Thankyou for the help :) I couldn't tell you which ccell came with the kit but I definitely followed the general instructions and then the specific ones (priming, watts, best between etc). I already said it but I'm wondering if it's me lol I did have a suspicion I may have got a dud pack of coils or something but I generally question myself first lol I will keep the geekvape in mind, that brand seems to turn up in whatever I read so they're obviously good. I'll also see if I can find the list and maybe just try a bunch out, that way I might be able to find some that suit my vaping. Thanks again for the welcome and info :)
