Hi guys,

I am new here and generally new to CBD, although I have tried it a few times now.

I've recently bought some disposable full spectrum CBD vapes <0.3% THC, as I am in the UK. I only use around 2 draws of it and it really helps my pain, and gives me a nice feeling. However, for the next 2-3 days after I've used it I get some weird side effects.

I get bad brain fog and a fuzzy head, dizziness, lethargy, cotton mouth, and just overall like my brain isn't functioning well. It usually lasts around 3 days, then I am back to baseline (my usual disease symptoms). I do have neurological Lyme disease which gives many symptoms, but the above is definitely caused by CBD. I have tried various methods of consumption such as CBD oil, CBD flowers (vape), and now disposable vapes.

I really want this to work as the day I use it I feel quite good, and I know many people with chronic disease say it helps them.

Has anyone else experienced a similar thing? Is it possible that the side effects will get less as I get used to it more and more ( I usually quit after the first or second go).

Thanks for your advice.

Hi @dhicks19

That sounds very rough on you, sorry to hear that.

This forum is primarily for nicotine vaping, though there may be a user or two that had tinkered with CBD. What I'm saying is that you might not get that many responses :)

I am wondering if there is anything dodgy in that CBD vape you're using. Because I have tried CBD a few times, and my partner has tried every CBD product under the sun for her own health issues.... and I have never felt anything like you have described, either positive or negative.

If you can find a place to buy it, it might be worth you trying some Rick Simpson oil. It's like CBD but with more of the good stuff left in. Totally natural too. That is the only thing that helped my OH, that and good old fashined 'erb. Both are very relaxing and neither have any kind of hangover associated with them.

Thank you. I would think that too, however I've tried lots of different brands so maybe I am just intolerant to cbd and related products.

thanks

This one has no noticeable side effects for me, whereas full spectrum always does. This is currently also a bargain, it's my go to cbd vape, has been since 2016.

Fuck, I didn't even realise we had a CBD section!

And @andipandi knows more about CBD than me so... basically, my first post was incorrect on every level. Apologies!

ha no problem at all, thanks for your help and have a top weekend.

Did you get similar sides with full spectrum?

Yes, but it doesn't last long, an hour or so. I am though used to "The real McCoy" :D
I do have neurological Lyme disease
A specialist subject, please be aware of interactions between prescription drugs and cbd, you need to do your research, there's a lot of bollocks written about cbd, it's a minefield.

scroll through this lot, should be trustworthy as it's from NICE (The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence)
