What's new

New user, advice needed for "value" e-liquid brands.

Not sure you should be pushing your products (which may well be excellent) outside of the vendor threads.
Wasn't trying to, just making a point that people who haven't mixed their own liquids before can do as the ready-made kits are out there.
If anything I put is 'too much' I'm sure the mods/admins will let me know ;)

Hey chaps

Well my onepoundeliquid came today. Got to say I'm really, really impressed so far bearing in mind the price. I got a few flavours to try and I'm on the pineapple one first. Throat hit is excellent as is the nicotine which I can feel. Flavours pretty good but more of a strong hint than a actual rush of flavour if that makes sense? More than good enough for me though and should cost me no more than £1 a day depending how much I vape. The price is why I wanted to quit in the first place but I think I'm enjoying vaping more than smoking, most of the time anyway.

Also looked into getting my first mod to go alongside my Halo 02 kit. Decided on the Aspire Odyssey Mini (Pegasus and Triton tank) as it seems it's been recommended loads for MTL vapers and the price is really good at the mo as it seems it's an older model. Also the coils are pretty cheap too.

After having a fiddle about I'm using the 1.2 coil at 15 watts, does that sound about right? I've been upping and lowering slightly and this seems to be my sweet spot at the mo. Just hoping that's not too much to burn through coils.

I had some pretty bad cravings yesterday for the smokes no matter how much I vaped on the Halo (which is great by the way but not adjustable and the coils take a while so soak between each draw) but after having some harder vapes on the Odyssey earlier they've gone again.

1.2ohm at 15w sounds about perfect for MTL and the coils should last a reasonable amount of time. You'll find your new kit is far more efficient at delivering nicotine so you should notice less of a craving.

Cheers for that mate, glad I'm doing it right,so confusing all this resistance lark. It vapes really well at 15 watts, comes with a couple of different coils to try at some point too but I'm really enjoying it as it is. I know there's MUCH better mods out there but for my needs this is a great bit of kit.

Wish they were popular decades ago then I probably wouldn't have smoked.

Glad you like the liquid juice. I use them and find their tobacco flavours just what i want.
Rejuiced are awesome too and do a 10 bottle tester pack for 15 quid. I have also had the pleasure of the manabush juices which are my treat for now.....
