Thought exactly the same myself but it's untempered so would need to be heat treated after forming. Not getting back into knife making though as I don't need a second case of shineyitus. ..
This is the last knife I made . Nice little flat scandic grind bushcraft with ironwood handle.

Not my style, I teach bushcraft and the such. I'd take a good quality sheaf knife over a lock knife any day of the week, simple stupid - no moving parts nothing to get clogged up etc etc

I quite like Lock Knifes personally, although with the possibility of the lock failing and slicing my fingers off...
Good job I don't use them regularly. However either way, beautiful items with a beautiful metalwork
