@kojak - I've never had to verify my age with a vendor in any way other than just confirming I'm 18+ before entering their site I didn't realise that any sellers required photo/email id and tbh I would just buy elsewhere if I came across a vendor asking for that sort of info before I was able to buy anything. Way too intrusive and time consuming imo - who is asking for that kind of info from you? Sounds nuts to me.
Also start with whatever nic level you feel will suit you, 18mg is just the general level at which the majority of new quitters start vaping at - you need to be confident that vaping will deal with your physical nic craving before you can start dealing with the psychological aspect of your attachment to smoking. Quitting the cigs for good isn't just about nicotine substitution but at the very initial stages it's one of the most important things to get right. Try buying a few liquids at different nic levels and see what works for you. I started on 18mg on +ohm coils but wasn't able to quit 100% until I switched to -ohm coils at 3mg, what works for one person can be quite different to what works for the next
As others have said don't beat yourself up if you don't quit 100% straight away, every cig you don't smoke is a small victory. I get the impression that you're somewhat fearful about giving up the cigs - it's a very strong physical and psychological addiction, there's nothing wrong at feeling trepidation. Try not to think about in terms of quitting smoking, think of it in terms of taking up vaping instead. Think of it as a gain rather than a loss. Also stick around here, this is a vaping forum rather than a quit smoking forum, but you'll get just as much support here and we're a lot more cheerful and fun
