nicotine strength

thank you all for your answers and your time, now i'm getting max 1mg/nicotine per ml in my ejuice so i can taste all that flavours all day.

and god hope he doesn't quit vaping cause cigarettes won't do anything anymore to him .. maybe 5 packs per day.

You have to remember though that even if someone vapes more nicotine, they are vaping zero tar and other toxins.

it's not a big plus, i don't want to crave for cigarettes when my battery dies out in the middle of holiday or even when i don't have the posibility to vape and need to buy a pack so my body's nicotine level matches vaping nicotine level.. i'd say 1-2mg per ml and vaping like 10ml per day of some creamy custard or fruits would do the deal.

can't figure out why all vape shops don't inform/train guys like me, but all they do is: "i smoke 6mg/ml and i was smoking marlboro, you have to do it too if you were smoking marlboro or camel " etc..

thx for vaporesso site and from my understanding would be to not surpass 30mg of nicotine strength if you smoke 1 pack a day.
doesn't matter how many puffs (think so) as long as a ml of ejuice has 3mg of nicotine strength. 10ml with 30mg total nicotine per day for any juice/flavors would be enough.

When vaping first came out the nicotine strength was shown differently.
3mg was shown as 0.3 which is technically the right way to show it because it's calculated as a percentage of 1000ml.
100ml is how percentages are usually calculated.
Cigarettes are detailed in microgrammes and eliquid is detailed as milligrams.

When you buy a 18 nic shot for example its actually 1.8 milligrams.

I understand the desire to compare the nicotine intake between smoking and vaping.
I did it when I started vaping.

Imo it is a pointless exercise. We consume them differently and they are absorbed differently.
Whether you are absorbing more or less nicotine than when you smoked, vaping is still healthier than when you smoked because you are not filling your lungs with combustion products.

When switching from smoking to vaping, the first priority is to get enough nicotine in you system that you are not tempted to smoke.
Whether this is more or less than the nicotine you got from smoking is irrelevant. It is still a good move with regards to improving your health.

Once you are comfortable with your vaping and are no longer tempted to smoke, then is soon enough to consider whether you want to reduce your nicotine consumption. If you are at this point and you do want to reduce your nicotine then all that matters is how much juice are you vaping now and at what nic strength. This is the only comparison that matters. You can now compare apples with apples instead of comparing them with oranges.

Hopefully smoking is in your past. Stop thinking about it then. If it is not in your past then get more nicotine into yourself.

I have to agree with what @oldhippydude says, when i quit after 47 years i couldn't of coped without Nic Salts but the longer i have vaped the less nicotine i use, i am now on 12mg which is still high according to some vapers but i was smoking along time and Nicotine has become a bit of a crutch to keep me on the straight and narrow road to not needing it anymore, but for now 12mg is good and i can't honestly remember how good my health has been during my lifetime, i feel great atm.

That's delightful to hear m'Lord. :)

As for 12mg, it depends on the setup you're vaping it on but if you're feeling so much better you're obviously getting something right.
