PS. Can you change drip tips, from the wide one's to an MTL?

not sure. some are fixed but most are not. but i have no idea on that last kit tank you posted. as its classed as a dtl im wondering if you could find higher ohm coils. i see it takes smok coils but they are mostly crap due to QC.

That's great advise pdg, thanks. I did think when looking for coils last night, making my own would probably be a lot easier! But saying that, I really have decided just to give it up. I really cba with all that and should never have ventured near it. I'm so vape dependent, say it stopped working suddenly when I'm hours away from home, I would be freaking out!

That can just as easily happen with stock coils too...

There's more to it than the tip.

Most tanks take a 510 tip so are effectively interchangeable, others take an 810, which is even bigger but adaptors are available to use a 510 instead. (Some only take proprietary tips or are fixed, in which case it is what it is.)

But, the rest of the tank has to be designed to suit the airflow - little MTL toots on a big DTL coil just don't keep it cool enough and can burn easily.

If you want MTL, you really need an MTL tank.

I've had the Zlide tank for 6 weeks now and not had any leaking or other problems at all. I use the 1.6ohm coils and mostly 70% pg liquids, so would definately reccomend the zlide.

Thanks very much all for your time and help. However, I have decided not to persevere, I don't have any confidence in my ability to change that coil every 1-2 weeks when I can't even get started with it. So that was a wasted buy.

I'm looking for an alternative though and really like this but does anyone know if that drip tip works as both DTL and MTL or is it DTL only?

Hi these are good as its compatible with aroubd 12 different coils brands ie: eleaf hw, vaporesso, pro core, smok, but no idea on mtl. I use a dtl tank thats compatible with all the coils I mention and have a uwell caliburn pod for mtl.
Thats just how i roll but the other apes on here have so much more experience than me. The Aegis is great if used with decent mesh coils, for flavour its great but makesure u get the bubble glass.
