Normal mech or Noisy cricket?

So i have a two mech mods at the moment a Sting ray x clone and a Diamond mist Aris (its just god damn terrible do not even feel safe using it to be honest). So i am looking to get another mech but some thing better quality. So i am liking the Noisy cricket for the power aspect to a series box mod as i like a hard hit from my vapes, I know about battery safety and know that its a hybrid mod so know it needs a good protruding pin on the atty and what have you. So do i go for that or a more standard tube mech mod and what would you suggest? somthing a bit better than your standard starter mod but nothing to pricey.

So apes whats your thoughts and/or suggestions? I should really pull my finger out and finish off the duel mosfet box i was making just a bit of soldering and tidying up and its done but i am lazy haha!

You sound like you know what you're doing and you don't need a lecture on safety, so I would go for it. 8.4 volts will give you so many more options when building.

You sound like you're not going to blow your fingers off with a NC, so do it.

For the price you could probably justify buying a NC and something like a Phantom, SMPL or Nebula tube mod.

I have a £100 budget but its the temptation on the power from a series mech and the price point on just makes me think why go spend all that on a normal tube mod when i can get that nice power from the NC for such a low price. I am confident in my understanding of ohms law and battery safety to be able to use a series mech. Plus i really can not afford to loose another finger i am already down to nine and one that got broken and has healed pointing skyward haha!

as already mentioned you're working with 8.4 volts so sounds like you're good to go.... I don't go/build real low coils, around .04..( .08 for the NC) but love the almost instant ramp up time of a series.

Noisy Cricket, 8.4v of Chinese manufacturing straight to the face. If you don't feel safe using the Aris then I would steer clear of the NC, it's a wild beast. I enjoyed the vape but imo it's entirely excessive.

It depends what your budget is really! I can recommend some really nice mechs but I'm sure @itsher can also lend a hand here.

EDIT: Just seen you have a £100 budget, check out the classies because there's some really nice mechs up for sale currently.

One of my worries was that the NC was just a bit of a gimmick with all the power. The Aris is more because it is just shoddily made IMO. Some great advice so far people thanks! Might just say sod it and buy the NC and something else as well.
