Normal mech or Noisy cricket?

I build near exclusively on a dripper with nichrome EXCEPT for on a NC, then i use kanthal to keep the ohms up (i build for other drippers about 0.2) Cannot stress that enough, keep above 0.4. Just remember safety and if you do the NC is the hardest hitting thing ive ever used. Its brutal. I also bought a brand new set of batteries for it that o ly get used for the cricket and are checked every single time i put them back in.

With the NC, build higer ohm coils (0.5+) and make sure they have a massive internal diameter so the cotton can keep up with how fast your going to burn through juice.
Mine only gets used for shits n giggles..

Is nichrome good? I've only used titanium, Kanthal and ss316l

I use nicrome in my drippers, crius, Aromamizer...you name it. Its ramp up time is super fast so no lag like with kanthal but the ohms are lower which is why i would never use it in a NC unless it was claptoned with kanthal. It out performs kanthal in every way. @stealthvape is of the same opinion.

What guages do you use? I may invest in some, can do some colour shots aswell with it I guess for some photography

I mainly use for fused 26awg claptoned with 40awg. Or i will use 30awg claptoned with 44awg.

For my NC the build i have is 26 kanthal claptoned with 44awg nichrome.

I have the nc in silver. Got it about a month ago but still not used it as it was an impulse buy. Looks great but I don't think I could or would ever need the power it chucks out.

What guages is that? I've been in stealthvape and they dont have anything under 26g or over 35g

Thats fused 26awg claptoned with 40awg. I get mine from wire mesh company. Stealthvape doesnt have any 'yet' but he may do soonish.

Top is fused 26 with 40
Middle is fused 30 with 44
Bottom is plain old 24 gauge kanthal.
