Done my first nickle build today 2.5mil drill bit with 8 wraps of 28g ni200.
Resting at 0.134 ohms.
Got the koopor mini in hard mode at 250 Degrees Celsius and its ok but its not quite as good as my kanthal builds.
I know you can't go lower than
.1 ohm on the koopor mini so i guess thicker wire is out of the question.

My question is is titanium any better or do i need to go for a dna 200 that can take thicker wire?

Also i can adjust temp but not wattage/joules but this thing has 3 modes soft, normal and hard these are preset ramp ups but hard mode doesn't quite kick it for me.
Thanks in advance

Noob in temp world

Stealth vape sell it, it's good stuff and they have all the info you need on the site[emoji1]

Sounds like you got the build about right, maybe try upping the temp up a bit. Ti can be better, depends on the mod. DNA200 is probably the only option to trully get the most out of TC, but then you need to know how to set it up or it will be just as bad as any other mod.

Try the Niffy first, see how you get on.

Sounds like a good Ni200 build. From this point, I would suggest playing around with your wicking and see if you can improve the feed rate of the juice. TC seems to work best with very minimal wicking - usually much less than you'd normally use for kanthal builds. 250C is quite a high setting, and having to set the temp high for good vapour production is often a consequence of sub-optimal wicking.

Forget Ni200 if you want to use thick wire, a NiFe alloy or Ti are the ones to go for (see the sticky on wire selection in this subforum). I find NiFe wires easier to use than Ti.

I'm a noob to TC too,
I find that the pre built Ni coil is epic for flavour but doesn't hit like Kanthal. But i don't mind the flavour is awesome, then to Kanthal for my throat hit.

I found temp builds perform differently from device to device. So it may not be the coils that are under performing.
You don't say if it's a spaced or micro coil. In my experience I've found spaced so much better.
Get yourself some Nife30 from stealthvape, so much easier to work with.
