What's new

NOW I understand shinyitis!

@Motorheaded That`s basically my justification too.
Nice collection!! That`s not exactly helping me restrain myself!

I`m not really "wasting" anything either as the stuff I`ve moved on from is all passed onto my wife, who got me started on vaping in the first place.
It has got to the point of having my vapemail sent to my work address now so she doesn`t see the full extent of it!

You guy`s REALLY aren`t helping with my self-restraint here :lol1:

My wife started getting shirty. She even asked when I planned to ween myself off vaping.
I told her I didn't want to. I'm self-medicating, and it could keep us both alive! ;)

Gotta go, people coming over for dinner tonight.
Should keep me off myepack for the night though...

I have explained to her that I don`t really plan to wean myself off vaping as such.
It`s got me off analogues and I view it as a 21st century Nicotine delivery system without the obvious Tobacco drawbacks, that`s how I see it anyway.

This place is awesome BTW, nicest forum I`ve come across :2thumbsup:

I'm surprised that so few people seem to get attached to one particular atty/mod. I found the combination that suits me fairly easily and although I have a backup that's it for me. I still have various things I bought during my experimental phase but that's only because I've been too lazy to to get around to selling them.

I like the 134, but I shall probably settle for the SVD at some point. I've been quite restrained on the battery side, it's the tanks/clearos/drippers that I struggle to resist (about 42 at last count)

Hi All.

I`m well and truly off the analogues now, thank god! and I am now fully aware of this "Shinyitis" I`ve been hearing about.

In the last couple of weeks my setup has gone from a basic eGo and a couple of spare Clearomisers to a Vision Spinner for out and about, a pile of iClear 16`s for various juices I`m trying, a good 20 or so different juices to experiment with and, lastly, an iTaste SVD for home use because I just couldn`t help it and some iClear 30`s to go on that, plus a pile of spare heads for them.

No regrets, it`s still less than I was typically spending on Tobacco every month but I need to slow down now.
Very happy with my setup all round now and loving the SVD

It does get a bit addictive though if you aren`t careful. Need to stay away from "myepack" for a bit to let my bank account recover!

wait till you discover shiny RDA's, RBA's and Mech mods woohoo

I'm limiting myself the only way I can...I'm skint even though I don't smoke at all now.I had to persuade the GF to let me buy an Ego+CE4 as she wanted me to quit smoking completely,by saying it was cheaper than smoking(lie)then promptly blew more than the baccy budget on an Ego+CE4 complete kit+juices. They lasted all of about 2 weeks before I'd to dig out my soldering iron & build a battery box, though the Ego's dying gave me a great excuse to buy my 1 st RBA,then my Vamo to replace the battery box as it struggled running my RBA,then there was the various rebuilding supplies/juices/mixing kits/flavours and finally,as soon as I've not needed buy anything extra other than consumables I go & shell out on another RBA.Oh well, its my birthday very soon so I'll see what I can persuade GF/daughter to buy me for that.

Aaaaaw crap. Just pulled the trigger on a VTR as my " out and about" device.
Plus I was craving a box style mod.

That really, really, really is it for at least 3-6 months...honestly.

Got to be anyway, road tax due at the end of January so I've got to give the government £220 :(

Calling it a Christmas prezzie anyway and just going to have a skint January, sod it.

Happy Christmas to all my fellow vapers, all the best for 2014

Sits scratching his head wondering who has the greatest life insurance.

I'm really happy with the SVD it's proving to be a solid all rounder, in "shorty" 18350 mode it's not bad to carry around either, full lightsaber mode a bit less so.
It's not missed a beat since I got it.

I just fancy a 134 for the "collection" simply because I admire the willfull insanity and OTT style of it, not too sure I'd want to use it in public too much though.
i can imagine taking it into an airport for example could be a touch problematic...

At a hundred quid on myepack it'll have to wait a few months, can't justify it at all it's pure " want it" with that one.

Vision Spinner 1300 remains the hassle free grab it and go option though.
Chegs Sorry to have reminded you mate, just after Xmas is a crap time to have to tax the car
