Just ordered these 3 tanks and a wraith squonk mod from fasttech.
Never built coils before as I always used the coils rta come with in standard packaging.
With a 75watt mod I'll be needing to vape at lower wattages to get better flavour with these devices so I'm thinking I'll be needing 28g kanthel wire with coil width at 2.5mm using 6 wraps.
Is this just fine tuning experimenting when wrapping making your own coils trying to guess the ohms you want to vape at? Ideally I'm thinking 0.05 ohm would be ideal with the mod and the rda at about 45/50 watts. 28g kanthel would be sufficient?

Unfortunately Stealthvape are out of useful gauge flattened wire the now - ahem.... cough, cough...

Now, please don't kill me for posting links to the other company!! :51::51::51:

Either of these two should do you. The Ni80 is lower resistance then the Kanthal and 'd probably go with that.
Do read up on using Nichrome/ni80 tho' if you've no used it before and for damned sure go put some figures in the Steam Engine coil calculator as posted above!

Very helpful guys thank you very much, I already got steam engine app.
Not researched nichrome wire as yet but can that be used on vw set up or just temp control only?
I can research later but at work and time is limited at the moment.

I'm not upto date on TC, but Nichrome was used before temp control existed :)

Mainly by mech users back then, due to its lower resistance and quicker ramp up than Kanthal.

Nichrome can be handy on regulated if you want.some serious surface area per ohm. But it is still my go to on a mech squonk.
