Pre built coils problem?

Hey guys just another curious question, i recently went to my vape shop today as it re opened, and i purchased 2 tubs of pre build coils, but sadly they only had these ones i have never tried, it says "diamond mist Serpent Coil" on it i dont know if thats the name but when i put it in it only shows as .14 on my mod when it says they are .3 ohm coils and also when im pulsing them to check for hot spots etc, only one seems to be warming up fast and properly and the other one is just being very weird and slow and its doing it constantly?

have i done something wrong?

also the top of my mod and side is like really really warm now and i can see the coils like sorta sparking at the bottom... idk what the hell i have done lol

What material are they? I know NI will read low until you've bedded them it.

Double check the screws are nice & tight, they can come loose when positioning your coils

Uhm im still kinda new but im assuming what u mean is this
It says on the box Kernel: 28GA * 32GA A1
Wrapped: 22GA A1

Sounds like Kanthal

With dual coil the resistance will half, so 2 x 0.30ohm will read 0.15 ohm. If that's the case & yours is reading 0.14 ohm then that's fine

Yeah as off now I believe I fixed the problem off them not heating up evenly I think it was the problem you stated the screws were slightly loose, so thanks for that and they seem to be heating up fine now I don't see any hot spots, I will try and put the cotton in now etc and see how she vapes , Let's hope I dont blow something up hahaha hate how scary these things are

Yeah seems to be working like a charm, The flavours a little funky but think it might just be vapors tongue since I was back on the stinkys, thank you for the help
