Not that I'm hung up on the price of DIY juice. Been using http://e-liquid-recipes.com to work out my recipes. I've filled in all my prices, and can't believe it's this cheap. I was prompted to work things out as I used nearly half a 12ml bottle of BestCigLiquid to make 30ml of juice @9mg.

12ml Concentrate: £3.00
5 Litre VG: £15
250ml 72mg/ml: £15

Using 15% concentrate the calculator shows £1.41 for 30ml - I thought £1 for 10ml was considered good going, and is about what I thought I'd worked it out to before. I double checked my figures and got £1.37 for 30ml.

For Capella/TFA recipes - which are £4.50/£3.50 respectively for 30ml - it's something like 97p for 30ml - can't be right...?

It is right my friend. Some of my mixes are as low as 30p for 10ml finished. And I don't buy massive amounts of base liquid so could probably get it down lower

Yep it's right.

I have some mixes that cost me as little as £12 per 1,000ml, joys of DIY home brew.

It's not some creme de creme flavoursome awesomeness. But it suits my tastes and I enjoy it

I've just figured out the cost of the DIY custard I have steeping at the moment, even with buying pg/vg in smaller quantities of 1 litre or less, comes to about 38p per 10ml. I do vape 0 nicotine though, so I don't have the added costs of buying nic.

It's nice to know that, now I'm mostly DIYing my juice, my vaping costs going forward will be around £5 a month or less.

Quite a bit healthier on the wallet than smoking as well as healthier on the lungs!

Happy days.

I'm a rank beginner in DIY juice and already on my fifth brew and cost was 38p per 10ml but it won't stop me buying quality juices - just means I can afford more ;-)

Just out of interest, where do you fill your prices in on ELR? I've got my Flavour stash and my recipes but can't seem to find anything about cost of recipe!
