As I want to drop my builds lower, I need some fatter wire.

I have .2 .25 .27 and .3 too hand.

So this may sound daft but here goes,
If I twist some .2 does it become .4?
Twist some .25 to make .5?

Roughly, yes.
Though thicker wire can result in slower'ramp up' whereas if you wound each coil as a parallel, you get lower resistances but faster ramp up(time taken to heat)

Just had a go at a parallel coil, just a single.

6 wrap .3 parallel on a 2.4mm screwdriver, .7ohm
Nice vape actually :)
