Tbh I think some are getting all het up here thinking this thread is about bashing people new to vaping and wanting clouds. I don't think this thread is about that. Maybe they should actually read the whole thread. These new sub ohm tanks will fit onto an ego battery. If it fits then it should work, that's what people will think, that's what I would have thought, n I aint too thick. It's just about getting the correct info out there so vapers are informed, simple as that. Yes I would totally agree that no one should begrudge that people new to vaping can get instant big clouds without much ground work, but I don't get the sense from this thread that that's what it's about at all. Good for them if they can get instant big clouds from there first setup. But there are still some things you should be aware of, so how can people slag people off who are helping people to vape safely. That kinda pisses me off. So, shut up wud yas.

I agree completely. I think the best way forward would be different adaptors for different functions so a sub ohm won't fit on an ego for instance.

Please don't put those straight on, put them to a link with a warning. I'm aware of the dangers but I don't want to be ambushed by stuff like that. I won't watch medical dramas and they are fake. Putting those on public forums where you don't know who is looking at them is not a good thing to do, it just makes you look like a dick. The only thing worse would have been a "lol" afterwards.

Tbh though I do have a very weak stomach for things like that and when people post pics like this I have to look away instantly. Wouldn't the description do? I mean I can conceptualize someone having their hands burned or nose blown off without having to actually imagine that in detail.

Oh well, guess we're all different. Some people can watch holby city while eating their tea. Not for me.

lemon80 and securityuniform that would in effect mean that all rebuildable mechs and mods would have to have non standardised connectors as any rebuildable can be subohmed... also then you would need to have the proprietary drip tip and mod and tank combo for everything if it worked like that. .. sealed units only. . As otherwise I could replace a coil with a lower subohm coil unless completely different coils are used in all devices (they're not but as a disposable item they are variable in a way other stuff is standardised) so I want a new subtank i now also need to buy the same mod rather than just using what I already have that is perfectly compatible... no company would do that as they would instantly lose most of their customers. . Or a few would and the price would be totally astronomical pricing most people out of the market.. so no the argument doesn't work. . And even if that were the case you would STILL find some idiots blowing themselves up as the kit can't be totally idiot proofed

I am with you 100% not only on these devices but people that have just not got a clue what they are doing . I was in a B&M the other day and a guy was sitting down blowing clouds from a mutx I asked him his ohms he says 0.1 so I asked him not been a smart arse what battery he was using he said oh I don't know ffs get a grip man. Anyway I checked his battery and it was ok to use but he never even knew what battery he was using . I asked him did he know anything about ohms law he said what's that but I am going to enter a cloud chasing comp. I was fucking astonished . I spoke to owner it's just a small shop and asked him would it be possible to give his customers advice on the gear he is selling. I thought he would tell me to do one but instead he said he would not only tell them but get flyers made up and put websites on it to point them in the right direction . So at least now I hope the people that shop there are getting the proper advice . And of course I asked him to put POTV on his flyers . Honestly there was more to this story but I am not even going to relate the rest it's too much of a head fuck for everyone to believe. So Rags I get you Man

Good point. I suppose we would end up in the same situation we were in with phones where we had a different adaptor for each one and drawers full of stuff we never used. Thank god for micro USB.

I loathe the notion of censorship - the second you begin catering to the whims of every person who is offended by a word or an image then you end up in a pointless vanilla world where nothing is addressed.

I think the images are excellent - lest we forget the seriousness of the subject in hand, which some folk clearly did.
I also have to confess to laughing out loud when I saw them ... not really sure whether it was a defence mechanism or because I'm a sick fuck.
A picture's worth a thousand words so just be grateful that we were saved from thousands of DaveX's angry words.
