I charge my LiPo mods through the balance port, so need to keep taking the battery out. It works really well so long as you don't try charging at ridiculous currents.

lol missed that bit. Those XT60s can be pretty stiff. Maybe add another connector just for charging through. It can be small and easily plugged/unplugged.
