For what its worth i think thats probably the best idea.
Releasing recipes is always going to be an odd one unless they're simple ones with common ingredients people tend to sub the odd flavour with something similar and before you know it its not the same as the original so the feedback tends to be meh.

Thanks mate, needed to hear that really as had the idea, spoke with Mrs so make sure I could fund it then thought, shit, what if people think I'm trying to rip them off?

Last thing I wanted and if had that response, I'd have just released it and washed my hands of it.

Still want people to DIY it themselves, they may add something that makes it a completely different liquid but still good, that would be great and I'd try it myself but also want people to have a nice, easy option that requires little effort and enjoy the liquid as it comes.

I'm talking to someone tomorrow about the manufacturing of a One-Shot but so far, so good.

You've seen a gap and put a lot of time, effort, and no doubt, funds into developing a product that fills that gap.
People have the choice to buy or not and if i were into ale would certainly give it a go.
If i bought it and didnt like it i would not buy it again simple.
If i were you I'd not release the recipe for diyers if you are releasing a one shot as there is no point and no one will feel hard done to at all if they can get there hand on a blend they like for cheaper than a ready made.
